Body Percussion



  • Keep the rhythm of an 8 beat percussion routine, incorporating rests, quavers, voice and movement.

  • Create a body percussion routine starting with a base of 8 clapping beats.

  • Reflect and comment on your own performance and other groups performances.

Room 4 started learning about how to use their bodies to make music. We practised our hands, feet and voices to create sounds. We also learnt how to do the hand jive – that was lots of fun! Then we got into groups and started making up our own routines to share.
