We had an afternoon being creative with nature and using the items we found outside, to create critters and bugs.
We had to use a piece of coloured paper then make our bugs from leaves and sticks on top of our paper.
Here is our plan we followed.
We really enjoyed getting out in the sun and being arty. It was challenging finding the right shape of leaves and sticks but we made it work. We had lots of different critters. Butterflies were the most common. We also had spiders, caterpillars, scorpions and a moth. It would be interesting to see if we can improve on our creations if we do it again. Now we have a bit more of an idea of how to create the shapes and lay the materials carefully.
I like how we could use things from outside. Instead of throwing them away we can use them for arts and crafts. Scarlett
We didn’t have to draw, which was good. Finding the right shaped things was sometimes tricky. Zoe
I liked using the leaves and stones to make a butterfly. Nevaeh
