Kia Ora, Hello, Bonjour... My name is Clara Loughin. I am French and have been living in Tokaanu, by Lake Taupo for five years.
I completed a Master of Law in France in 2010 and worked for three years for the French government as a legal adviser. I trained for swimming for most of my life. When I moved to New Zealand I became a swim teacher for children in Taupo. Then I decided to become a primary school teacher. I graduated from Massey University.
I enjoy the outdoors and keeping active by going tramping, kayaking, rafting and swimming.
As a primary school teacher, I aim to motivate and inspire children, while creating a fun and challenging learning environment. I believe that creating an environment based on trust and respect where children feel comfortable to learn is one of the most important parts of being a teacher.
