The junior group had been on stage 45 minutes before. Their songs represented the school using poi and haka moves. Many parents came to help dress and prepare the juniors to perform on the stage.
The whole school travelled to the Taiopenga to acknowledge the work of both groups and to be a part of the school-wide festival.
During the lunch time break the Tūwharetoa Anthem was sung. Representatives from all over the Rohi went on stage to perform as a united group. We stood strong and proud to sing this anthem as a part of the collective group.
