Students braved the chill and enjoyed the run through the farm, avoiding the slippery frozen cow poo. The fun and enjoyment was shared by all, with plenty of cheering from the sidelines and laughter after the odd stumble, making it all worthwhile to see the smiles as runners crossed the finish line.
A big thank you to Bevan Thompson for setting up a great track, and to Mark Miers for generously allowing us to use his farm. This day would not have been possible without our parent helpers and whānau coming out to cheer students on. Nothing beats the spirit of cross country.
