While it could be said that the school is training for the cross country running race, it is also to make sure that the students do physical activity every day.
After the visit from Luke Boon, students have been practising daily to master their tricks with the skipping rope.
There has been teaching of junior students both at home and at school. Even the pre schoolers at home. Parents have reported that their children have enjoyed the skipping and the opportunity to learn those tricks. There is one trick that is the most popular. A swing the rope, catch it under your foot and then swing to jump. It took a while to get this right and eventually both seniors and juniors mastered it.
Unlike the first Jumping June, that was hosted in 2023, the physical fitness level of everyone improved. Not as many tired students at the end of the event. Those turning the ropes had to go a lot faster.
